Boxing Day running shoe deals 2026
Saturday 26 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027
Boxing Day is Australia's traditional clearance sale, strongest for fashion, footwear, homewares, bedding and furniture. Electronics discounts are usually shallower than Black Friday's, because the stock that is left is what did not sell.

Buying running shoes at Boxing Day
- Boxing Day is a clearance, so the deals are on what is left. If you want a specific model, Black Friday was the better bet.
- Fashion, shoes and bedding see their deepest cuts of the year; sizes go fast on the first morning.
- Online sales usually open at midnight or earlier on Christmas Day, before the stores do.
- Check the returns terms; clearance items are often final sale.
- Check the width fitting; many models come in standard and wide.
- The previous version of a model is usually the same shoe with a new colour, at a much lower price.
- Buy a half size up if you are unsure; running shoes fit smaller than casual ones.
