Buying monitors at EOFY sales

  • Computers, monitors and office furniture see their best mid-year prices, and a purchase before 30 June may be deductible if it is for work.
  • Stocktake clearance means older models; check the model year before assuming it is current.
  • Health insurance and other services push June sign-up offers; compare the ongoing price, not the introductory one.
  • Match the refresh rate to your use: 60 to 75Hz for work, 120Hz or more for gaming.
