Before you buy

Buying books, school & learning

School backpacks are sized by age and height; a senior-school bag on a six-year-old is too big to carry well.
Check the reading level or age band on book bundles, which are often grouped widely.
Name labels and school stationery sell out in late January; order early if the school list is long.

Policies change. Each note says when we read it; check the store’s own page before relying on it.
