Buying smartwatches at Free Shipping Day

  • Free standard shipping may be too slow for Christmas even when the delivery fee is zero.
  • Check minimum order spend, regional postcode restrictions and whether a membership is required.
  • Ask the retailer for an order-by deadline based on your delivery postcode; carrier lodgement dates are not retailer ordering dates.
  • Check it works with your phone's operating system.
  • Battery life ranges from a day to a fortnight depending on the model.
  • The previous generation is usually the deal; the new one rarely discounts in its first months.
